Troll Couriers of the Sky Isles
A downloadable game
A band of troll mercenaries once worked as muscle and henchmen for a powerful wizard, using his magical map to recover valuable items from across the realm. On one of their missions, they found an airship—so they decided to go into business for themselves as freelance couriers!
The trolls now spend their days traversing the many floating islands of the Sky Isles, braving pirates and countless other dangers while avoiding the authorities, delivering valuable packages at the behest of nobles, merchants, criminals, and other shady clients. The couriers have three strict rules: Never change the deal, protect the magical map, and never eat the package.
You are the troll crewmembers of the “Blood Dragon,” one of the fastest airships in the realm, and you are determined to become rich and famous before your old boss finds you and takes back his map!
Inspired by The Transporter and Time Bandits, Troll Couriers of the Sky Isles is a standalone scenario for the Tricube Tales system and is usable as a micro-setting, but it is also a fully self-contained one-page RPG in its own right. You can print it on a single sheet of paper: The first page includes everything you need to play, while an optional second page expands the adventure generator with examples and twists. The PDF uses layers for ease of printing.
In addition, there are seven form-fillable character cards, each of which has already been filled out with an example character.
