The Wyrms That Turned

Mighty dragons once ruled this land, crushing anyone who dared oppose them. Demons and giants fell beneath their claws and magic, for none could face them and live. But then came the humans, insignificant and primitive, yet also devious. They professed to worship the wyrms as gods, begging them to share their arcane knowledge—and in their arrogance, the dragons foolishly agreed.

Over the millennia, humans spread like vermin, and as their numbers grew, so too did their ambition and greed. They turned their sights on the dragons and ruthlessly hunted them down, plundering their lairs and desecrating their corpses. Facing the threat of extinction, most of the survivors fled or hid.

You may only be a hatchling, but you will never flee or cower before mere humans. It is time to grow in size and power, to take revenge and reclaim your heritage. It is time for this wyrm to turn!

The Wyrms That Turned is a standalone scenario for the Tricube Tales system and is usable as a micro-setting, but it is also a fully self-contained one-page RPG in its own right. You can print it on a single sheet of paper: The first page includes everything you need to play, while an optional second page expands the adventure generator with examples and twists. The PDF uses layers for ease of printing.
